We are tackling a wide range of E-Commerce challenges!
MoCOM E-Commerce Innovation Challenge is organized by The Ministry of Commerce Myanmar (MoCOM) and UNDP Myanmar under the Government’s COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan (CERP), to source innovative ideas from Myanmar’s e-Commerce community for combating COVID-19 and support the further development of the e-Commerce industry in Myanmar.
What is
MoCOM E-Commerce Innovation Challenge?
Co-Creation
The challenge is centered around the co-creation method whereby we co-create with the participants leveraging the resources available to deliver high fidelity prototypes.
Dialogue Platform
The challenge is a great ground for the private sector to showcase the innovative products and services while being able to interact with the government officials to develop a better understanding of the needs.
E-Commerce Focus
The challenge is a part of Government’s Covid-19 Economic Recovery Plan to source innovative ideas for combating Covid-19 and support the further development of the e-Commerce industry in Myanmar.
Experiment New Initiatives
The challenge is a great testing ground for your venture to try new initiatives or improve existing relevant projects while receiving support from not only the Government but also from various stakeholders along the process.
Background
COVID-19 has spread rapidly to almost every corner of the world. According to the WHO, globally, the number of confirmed cases has exceeded 49.53 million with1.23 million fatalities as of 6 November 2020. Myanmar currently has 61,377 confirmed cases and is at continued risk of spread particularly in densely populated urban areas.
